Olasimbo is a Certified Canadian Counsellor and seasoned mental health professional dedicated to supporting the well-being of individuals, couples, children and families. She brings a strong foundation in human services, with a BA in Language Arts, a Social Work diploma, and master’s degrees in early childhood education and counselling psychology. In addition, she is a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level II (CCTP-II), and a licensed Early Childhood Educator in Alberta.
Drawing from a wide range of evidence-based modalities—including CBT, DBT, EFT, ACT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, the Gottman Method, and Flash Therapy—Olasimbo provides client-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care tailored to each person’s needs. Her areas of focus include anxiety, trauma recovery, relationship concerns, parenting, family dynamics, and life transitions, with additional experience counselling teens, newcomers, and clients accessing Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
