About Suzy

Healing doesn’t have to feel cold, clinical, or overwhelming. I specialize in helping individuals who feel stuck in relationships or weighed down by old emotional patterns reconnect with their authentic selves. If you're carrying wounds from your past or feeling overwhelmed in the present, you don't have to navigate it alone. Real healing is possible—even for the messiest parts of life. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in compassion. We'll start by gently exploring your family of origin and identifying beliefs or patterns that may be limiting you. We'll create space for growth and self-understanding.

I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), two research-based approaches that help individuals connect with their inner strength and move through stuck patterns. We will work at your pace, honouring your story. I'm a warm and direct therapist with over 18 years of experience working as a clinician. We will learn to feel to heal.

I am currently working only through Zoom. The transition from chaos to comfort begins with a feeling of safety and security. I believe in a relationship between therapist and client that can tolerate mess and still have a safe container to be in.
